Sims 4 MacBook Stuck on loading screen

when I load sims it takes me to the main screen just fine (the one with the load game or resume game) when I load a new game it works just fine but if I resume my current game or load that game it stays on the loading screen into the game. 

   After some looking I figured it might be a corrupted save file for that game, how do I fix this?? I would really not like to lose the progress I have made.

  Here’s some info:

 I’ve deleted all the deletable cache files

 I have NO MODS at all; I’ve never even used mods

ive  repaired the game at least 10 times and restarted it even more

Again, a new game works fine I just can’t access my current game I’m playing. Please help it would be so appreciated!!! Thank you for reading!
