Fixed it in my game - move the family out and into another lot (I moved them into a lot in Mt. Komorebi) then load that lot. Whilst on the lot move them back into the lot in Brindleton Bay using the Move option on the phone:

Maybe the save is corrupted? Could you upload it to a file sharing site and post the link or PM it to me.

Have you tired this? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163 after the new folder has created put the one problematic save in the saves folder and see if it loads. You need to try the save in a non-modded game.
