Sims 4 keeps quitting unexpectedly
I've been having an issue for awhile now where my Sims 4 game keeps "quitting unexpectedly". There doesn't seem to be any particular time or moment when it quits, although I can't usually play longer...

Could you disable Origin in-game and see if that helps. Are your graphics settings maybe a bit too high, have you tried lowering them to see if it makes a difference?
I turned off Origin in-game and turned the graphics down to low, but it still quit on me unfortunately! Thanks for the suggestion though!

Ok. Couple more things to try:
1. Run the Origin reset tool - https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/
2. Create a new user account on your Mac and see if the game performs better in that account. Try a new, vanilla game first before copying over your saves.I tried both those things and I thought briefly that the new user account had solved things, but alas it still unexpectedly quit on me after a few plays.

☹️ Does it quit at certain times during the game, are you always doing the same thing or is it completely random?
