Sims 4 not opening

I bought sims 4 on my mac through origin today, but when i press play, origin closes, the mouse loads but then it sends me back to my game library? I have tried opening sims through my applications,...

Its all been solved! i moved the file and it fixed itself

Have you repaired the game in Origin? You could try playing in a new user account on your Mac, see if it will launch in that account https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/mac-help/mtusr001/mac
