I tried a clean Sims 4 folder and sadly it’s still the same result. I have a MacBook Air M1 2020 MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1. When I click on Origin to open my game it says it’s unresponsive but if I let it load for a while it eventually opens but it’s hard for me to save and close it back when I’m done playing. Could this maybe be a storage problem? I just upgraded to 2TB (iCloud storage) .

You need internal storage available, not iCloud, because the game only saves locally.
Did you move any files from the old Sims 4 folder into the new one?
Did you allow all access requests to the Documents folder and other locations when installing and running the game for the first time?No , I removed my mods to my desktop and generated new folders and files for everything else . Even when I take my mods folder out of my game and try to open it that doesn’t work. I honestly believe it’s the MacBook itself because I’ve tried everything else . Yes, I allowed access . I even download the origin reset tool and nothing works .
