Sims 4 on MAC - Cannot start saved game

Hello!

I am playing on MAC. Since I downloaded the new update, I was not able to play with my saved games. When I get to the main menu and press PLAY, I am automatically directed to create a new Sim. I can see the sims I created before in my gallery and share them but not start my old game. Please help, this is very frustrating...
