Sims 4 saves not loading in game (mac)

ever since I got my new mac none of my sims 4 saved games are able to be loaded. I have tried validating the game files, I disabled cloud sharing in the origin settings, I noticed my EA documents fol...

Thank you for your help, I stumbled on the solution. I don't know why but I decided to drag the sims 4 folder out from users\documents\EA\ and started the game. The game remade the sims 4 folder in that location, then I took all the saved files from the old folder and put them in the new saves folder and it seems to work fine now.
