sims 4 stuck on loading screen and can't force quit

so I have a MacBook air that runs on macOS Catalina ver. 10.15.7. My game has been loading for over an hour and I can't force quit it. When I try to, it doesn't do anything. I tried to just let the battery die in hopes it force quits itself but it's not doing ANYTHING. I do have a handful of CC so maybe that might have something to do with it? If you need any more information about the MacBook air itself, ill leave it underneath this paragraph.

-MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2020)

-Processor, 1.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i3

-Memory, 8GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X

If you know how to fix this, please let me know. I would really appreciate it 🙂

  • click the apple logo in the corner, click force quit, and press sims four and allow it to force quit 🙂 I hope this works, it worked for me 🙂
