I updated my sims 4 and instead of the usual play button it’s still says update. Doesn’t matter what I do. I restarted my computer, re downloaded origin, cleared the cache, repaired files, and nothing. I’m really upset about this but idk what else to do ☹️

If you want to play while waiting to fix this issue, you can put Origin into offline mode, and then the Update button should change to Play.
No, it still says update. Someone told me I could play offline but when I try that it says play and doesn’t actually let me start the game.
When I’m online update still appears and gets stuck in the loop

also every now and then it’ll actually start downloading packs that where already updated/downloaded
