sims 4 wont even launch on Mac

My game will not open I have tried almost everything. I started with removing recently added/updated mods from the folder then deleting half of that to removing completely. I have attempted repairing the game several times, ive even gone as far as uninstalling the ea app and the game all without mods and cc, the game will not load no matte what I do. I've restarted my computer and it's on the most recent MacOS version which I can't help but notice that I haven't been able to play since I updated it. Chat support has no answer for me either. Im at a supreme loss about ready to erase and reinstall my computer, any help pleaseeeeee

I did all of those things multiple times, nothing worked until I restored my MacBook Pro to factory settings, set up as new and downloaded the BG first and that's when it finally fully opened.

My computer is up to date on software, ive restarted it several times. Chat support has no answer for me either. Im at a supreme loss, any help pleaseeeeee

Does it still happen with none of your current user data in the new Sims 4 folder?
