Sims 4 Won't Open (Mac)

I've had the game for several months now, and all was fine. But after the recent update, by Sims 4 game won't open. Origin works fine, and I am still able to click on the game. It goes to open sims, ...

    @Laurenyoung001,

    You may have a faulty mod in your CC. CC is not made by Maxis and it can trigger issues with the game, that's why Maxis does not recommend using it.

    You need to test your CC in small groups until you find your faulty mod/mods

Hi @NadiaBeukes,

CC is Custom Content, like hair, clothes, furniture... downloaded from the Internet and created by fans.

So how to get it work again, because it really sucks to not being able to play ... maybe someone can give a step by step Information, how to make it work. 

And I did uninstall it before and also origin, now I'm curious to see how it's fixed
