My game was updated this afternoon. After the update, my Sims are unable to pay their bills. They go through the motions of paying bills via the PC, phone, or mailbox. However, the household funds do not decrease, and the power remains shut off. This issue persists across multiple households and saves. No mods or custom content were installed before or after the update.
Expected Behavior:
When Sims pay bills using the PC, phone, or mailbox, the correct amount should be deducted from household funds. If power was previously shut off due to unpaid bills, it should be restored after payment.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load a household with unpaid bills.
2. Attempt to pay bills through the phone, PC, or mailbox.
3. Observe that the funds are not deducted, and power is not restored.
Troubleshooting Attempts:
- Restarted the game.
- Repaired the game via EA App.
- Checked for mods (none were installed).
- Tested on a new save (issue persists).
