The first thing to try is moving your TS4 folder in Documents (not just pieces, the entire thing) to the desktop. Then try to launch the game again. This will generate a new folder with no content. If you can play for a bit, you can start moving content from your old folder into the new one, a bit at a time.
If this doesn't help, or you don't have a TS4 folder in Documents anymore, you can try running the Origin reset tool for macs.

You might need to uninstall and reinstall Origin completely, which is a bit more complicated than uninstalling TS4.
