Small Businesses Disappearing

I have no mods of any sort but just bought a bunch of packs during the summer sale. I was playing with new businesses and realized that even though I frequently save my game they were just disappearing from the lot completely. I also couldn't move my family into lots. It also happened with a whole new family that I started in his vet business. :(   I tried "repairing" the game, and some "tricks" I looked up online but it doesn't seem like anything is working.

    What is your iCloud status? Are you using iCloud Drive to sync your Documents folder to the cloud? How much space is free in iCloud and how much storage is available on your Mac?

    I’ve never used mods and I’m playing on a Mac. I haven’t tried to move a family in to the small business lot. I couldn’t move a family into the biggest house in Brindleton Bay. It would just keep crashing. So far, only the small businesses!

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Did you never have mods/cc or remove them ? Please pick a thread tag for that.
    • What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
    • What happens if you try to move your family in ? Is that a separate issue or can you just not move them in on small business residential lots ?
    • Are only the small businesses disappearing or other lots too ?
