I just want them to fix this glitch. It’s annoying haha
But it's not a glitch, it's just the way the Dock works. You could move your Dock to the side of your desktop. Go into System Preferences > Dock and play around with the settings.

When I called Customer Service they told me to put my issue on here so they know if it’s happening to other people, and then they said they might try and fix it. I was just saying because when I played the Sims 3, it didn’t happen on there, but on the Sims 4 the Apple Dock was showing up when I scrolled to the edge of the screen, no matter where I put the dock (bottom, side, top). I thought it was just my computer. Thanks for the comments everyone.

It will be happening to everyone on a Mac, sadly CS aren't too familiar with how Macs work or macOS...

Well, it does. I have my Dock on the right side of the screen, and it pops up whenever I move my mouse to that edge of the screen while in fullscreen mode.- 5 years ago

The Dock will sometimes pop up when I move the mouse to the bottom edge of the screen, and I only ever play in fullscreen mode.

Are you playing in proper fullscreen mode? When you do it should flick to a second desktop. It's very easy to confuse a game window filling the whole screen with actual fullscreen mode. Holding down CTRL, CMD and F will toggle between fullscreen and windowed mode. If you are in true fullscreen mode the Dock will not appear.
- 5 years ago@Bluebellflora It’s definitely in full screen mode—in its own Space—and definitely popping up the Dock whenever I mouse over to the right of my screen in Catalina.

But it’s not. The Dock doesn’t show up in any other full-screen game I have. This is something the application can control. It’s just that Sims 4 doesn’t. And where you put it doesn’t matter. No setting will help this that I’m aware of.- Bluebellflora5 years agoHero+
That comment was from a year ago, before you posted in this thread and provided more information. Didn't we just go over this over the last few days and ascertain that it's intermittent and yes, possibly not behaving as intended? I'm confused... 😕
