The sims 4 crashes when I exit cas or have a sim leave a lot

Ive been trying to troubleshoot the problem for a while now but nothing I do seems to be working. If im making a sims in cas in a save and go to leave it will crash but only sometimes, however if I try to have a sims leave the lot (via rabbit hole or traveling with them) it will also crash. This happens more frequently than the cas crashes. Ive tried different saves the same thing will still happen. I also tried to play without any mods keeping in custom clothes and furniture im not sure if it worked because there is never a specific time into playing that it happens or a particular lot I have to travel to either. I have no custom lots in my game so I don't think the lots themselves are the issue (??) I also have nothing connected to my laptop I don't know if that information is relevant or not.
