Please check that mods and custom content are enabled in game settings. You can find this in Settings > Other
yes i hvae launched it a couple times and made a few characters and played around for a bit, made a few households.Thats my problem though, i vant find anywhere a electronic arts folder, all i have is the contents folder when i right click on the app and ask it to expand in folder form
it wont give me that folder tho :/ like i have been lookin up stuff for hours and can not find a way to get it.
i checked there its like missing, it might be broken?

Launch your game and click on load game in the main menu. In the window where you choose which household to load, please hover your cursor over it to get the file path as below:
