203b86011cef413e You can renumber the saves too, e.g. Slot_00000012.save rather than 08. The only requirement is that the numbers be eight digits long and contain only hexidecimal digits: numbers 0 to 9, letters a to f. And you're right that the files need to end in .save with no .verx at the end.
Thank you, I did it! It was easier than I thought. I had been wrongly thinking that each slot was supposed to be a household. Then and finally realized that I could copy just one slot from the right time, rename it, and have her whole save back. Now she has all her old sims again! Thanks for your help!
