Hello,
I recently downloaded The Sims 4; however, I cannot get the game to launch. Every time I try I receive the following message, "Unable to start: The Sims™ 4 is already running. [ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51]". I have went online and tried all the common suggestions including reinstalling the game, scanning for errors, clearing out the download folder, etc, but, nothing has worked.
I would really appreciate any assistance you may have.

@AileyB If OneDrive is running on this computer, whether you use it or not, please try pausing syncing before you play. Right-click the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen to see the option.
If that's not the issue, set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and EADesktop.exe in your antivirus. Even if you only use Windows Defender, Controlled Folder Access could be interfering. Don't enable it if it's not already running, but if it is, please follow the instructions here:
