Unable to start: The Sims 4 is already running - Mac only

Is there a guide that shows how to do those things? The screenshot should be posted with this.

    You don't need a guide. Simply open the folders until all the files are showing. Sometimes it takes a while to load the contents on an external depending on the connection speed, memory etc.

    Your Sims 4 game doesn't have access to the Documents folder, only removable drives. It needs access to the Documents folder because that is where it looks for user data.

      Ohhh okay i understand what you're saying now but as for the access part I'm still confused because removable volumes is the only option I have.

        At some point you would have been prompted to allow the game access to the Documents folder and must have clicked deny instead of allow. Can you give the game Full Disk Access?
