Hello! As you can see the title, I have done everything that I know. I used to have mods but took all of them out (only have CC now), repaired the game, uninstalled it, and even made a whole new folder. But now it is saying that it is already running but it's not at all. I play on Macbook Air M1, 2020, I have never had this bad of an issue till now. The CC folders are not in the actual folder as it is greyed out and I cannot open it.
Edit: My macbook is running on the latest update!
Edit: I had made sure that they both had full access to the disk and now it pops up on the force quit applications but it still doesn't open. Also don't mind the google chrome or opera gx tabs being opened (Those being open does NOT cause problems with the sims 4)
Edit: it still doesn’t work even after following everything that Bluebellflora said to do and nothing works! It must be my laptop messing up ):
