"Unrecognized Video Card" MacBook Pro
I have a MacBook Pro 2019 macOS Mojave version 10.14.6. TS4 has been working since I bought the computer a month ago, but all of a sudden when I launched TS4 this evening a window popped up saying "...
Thanks 🙂 Your Intel chip isn't showing in the GraphicsCards.sgr file (Found:0) although it's showing as supported (Supported:1). Lets add it and see if that helps.
- Right click on the game in your Applications folder and select Show Package Contents
- Open the Contents folder then open the GraphicsCards.sgr file with TextEdit
- Hit CMD and F to bring up the search bar in the file and type in 0x5926 then Enter/Return. It should highlight that Device ID, the full line will show
card 0x5926 "Intel (R) HD 640" $cardLevelMedium $resolutionMedium
- Click at the end of that line and hit Enter/Return to create a new blank line underneath it, like this:
- Copy and paste this in that empty line:

card 0x3ea6 "Intel (R) HD 645" $cardLevelMedium $resolutionMedium - Close the file then launch your game and check to see if the issue is still there. After closing your game open the Config file again and see if the value is Found:1, Supported:1
Regarding your Mods not showing up, are your saves loading ok?
