Unresponsive Esc key

Which language are you playing the game in? Deutsch
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.56.55.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Get Famous and Jungle Adventures
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play around in build mode for a while. Grab an object and then try to cancel the action via Esc.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Esc key stops working.
What do you expect to see? The Esc key to be working.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

This might be difficult to reproduce since it only happens occasionally. I think something in build mode triggers the problem to occur, although I'm not sure which action exactly. My Esc key works perfectly fine otherwise, so this seems to be a game only issue.

My specs:

Model: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15', Mid 2014)

Operating System: OS X High Sierra 10.13.6

CPU: 2,5 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 16 GB RAM 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB
