Walls are blue, can't change them

Hello everyone, just purchased Sims 4 for my mac and I am unable to change the colors of the walls. All the walls facing in the same direction have this problem and all the furniture I place against the wall has the same problem. I have seen posts on the forum a couple of times, but there seems to be no post where they have found the solution. 

No custom content or add on packs have been installed.

My Mac is:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013)

Processor: 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel Iris 1536 MB
