please help me, when i click play in origin i hear the music but can't see anything but my desktop background. Its almost like the game isn't open but like i already typed, i can still hear the music playing. Help!
Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

If it's not a CC/Mod issue try holding down CMD and press the Tab key. Does the game icon show up in the quick app switcher? If so can you press Tab again to highlight it and then see the game? Have you tried launching the game from the Sims 4 App in your Applications folder instead of through Origin?
