Will my Mac support sims 4?

I've new to playing Sims 4 on a Mac. I'm just curious if my specs would support my Mac.

MacBook Pro: (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

3.1 GHz Intel Core i5

8GB 2133 Mhz LPDDR3

Macintosh HD

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536MB

Yes it should. You may not be able to play on all high settings as the game is quite demanding and a dedicated GPU would be preferable. Start off with the base game and maybe a couple of packs and see how you get on 🙂

  • @DCarreno97 I'm currently running the game really well on:
Macbook Pro (Retina, 15inch, Late 2013)
    2GHz Intel Core i7
    8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    Macintosh HD
    Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

    Hope this helps 🙂
You should be fine, yours is much newer than mine.
  • @adduapina Ahh, forgot to mention, I have the graphic settings set mostly on Medium with a few lows and a few highs!

Your Mac has a dedicated NVIDIA GPU, this is significantly more powerful than the integrated Intel chips in 13" MacBook Pros, despite the age of your Mac. You also have a quad core i7 processor, @DCarreno97 has a dual core i5. There is no fair comparison between your Macs 🙂
