In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".
Hi all
I play on Mac and have no mods or CC, after the fix patch for the randoming crashing installed today I cannot open any previous save file.
I get to the main game screen and try open a previous save or just click “Play” and all I get is the loading screen continuously.
have tried shutting down, restarting Origin as well as MacBook itself a few times. Nothing!
Have tried to “recover save file” this doesn’t open it up either though.
any suggestions please? Don’t want to
loose this family, I’ve been playing them for ages!

Unfortunately I'm facing the issue today with Sims 4 after their latest update on my Mac.
The game perfectly loads to the home screen but once I choose my desired saved family to play with - it gets stuck on loading. I have already tried messing up with moving mods and saved files, It didn't help.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.
I have the same problem. I tried everything.
Same. It was ok at first (playable but it crashed a few times) but after the latest update it won't load at all.
