@skydrea and @fabrikate425 I've merged your posts into the master thread for this issue. Please try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
If that doesn't help, please remove your Mods folder, delete localthumbcache.package, and test again.

Thank you, it did work. After I posted that question, I looked it up on google and repaired it and got it fixed but I kind of forgot that I posted it on here lol. Thank you.

I'm on a Mac and was having the crashing issues that a lot of others had, I updated my game with the new fix and now I can't play the game, I get to the main screen and press the play button and then the game continuously loads. I haven't got any CC or Mods so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm getting a bit upset at not being able to play the new expansion pack due to all the issues ☹️

Right clicking the game and repairing it fixed everything, thank you so much 🙂
