[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

I play on a Mac - My game did today’s update to fix the crashing and now it won’t load at all! Was waiting up to 10 mins and it was just stuck on the loading screen. I took off all my mods and still ...

In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

@emmalynn1230 @milkiewormie @sadamo20 and @lauragabi2000 I've merged your posts with the master thread on this issue. Please try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

@puzzlezaddict Thanks for the suggestion, the repair got me to a neighborhood but froze on the loading screen again when trying to play a family. I appreciate the suggestion!!

@puzzlezaddict Having the same issue. FYI, I update and repair every single time before I load the game, this fix doesn’t work for me for the crashing after the 11/17/20 patch.
