In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".
I use a mac.
Origin updated Sims4 so I decided to be brave and try it.
Very laggy, often can't switch between Sims and sometimes I click on something like the shower and the cursor changes as if it's not an object I can interact with.
Did the Origin repair game thing.
Restarted whole laptop.
Still having the same issues.
Incredibly laggy and freezes
Then my mac started to come up with the error 'your system has run out of application memory' even though the Sims is the only thing open but apparently that can happen with a faulty program.
Bah humbug.
Edit:
I should mention I have NEVER had issues playing the sims before these November updates. Even with other programs open and multiple internet tabs and spotify playing.
Paid so much money to enjoy these games and then mandatory updates screw it all up and I'm getting concerned it's gonna make my whole laptop buggy.
