Can't run The Sims 4 with the video card in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specifications ans that the latest video drivers are installed. [0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:0000012d:912c9c10]

 I was able to play on 5/17/17 but when I tried on 5/18/17 I got the error the only change was my video drivers updated in the night tried clean install of both the drivers and game and still getting the error

    Could you try moving the following files to the desktop then. You'll find both in documents\electronicarts\thesims4\

    • Options.ini
    • Config.log

    The files will be recreated when you start the game. All your ingame options will be reset so you'll need to re-do them.

    I am having the exact same problem. It started after the Windows 10 Creator Update. After that the game won't start and I received the same error message you are getting. It is definitely not my card, I updated my drivers from the Nvidia website and my computer is far above what the specs of the game require. I'm not sure why this is happening.

    I think it is a problem with the game itself. I am not having an issue with any of the games I downloaded from Steam.

    Then I would try rolling back to the drivers you had before. So not the newest ones but the ones before.

    No, the drivers for the video card aren't the issue. The issue is the Windows 10 Creator Update.
