Please I need help. After the last update, the text in the game does not load, show me some code - 439AF8D9. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but unfortunately it's still the same. We tried removing the mods and the game won't even start. Don't know what to do with it? Thank you
has5eov3l75y I'm not ready to give up yet. I understand if you are, but I'd be happy to keep trying. If you want to as well, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account. You'll be able to launch Sims 4 without reinstalling anything, but your saves and other user content won't be available.

has5eov3l75y The initialization error is usually related to an overly active antivirus. So please set exceptions in yours for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64; or the entire Bin folder they're in. Set an exception for EADesktop.exe as well. You may need to repair the game (again) afterwards.
unfortunately i did all that and my game still has no text and the same window still pops up on the other one. unfortunately that didn't help either.
has5eov3l75y Were you ever able to play in the new, local admin Windows account? If not, please try it again, just to see whether the problem is still there.
So I tried playing in a new Windows local administrator account, unfortunately the problem still persists.
has5eov3l75y What antivirus do you use? Does it help to temporarily disable the antivirus? As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe, and you can reenable the AV as soon as you're done testing Sims 4.
You may need to repair the game after disabling the AV and before trying to play.
I'm using AVG and I turned it off and fixed the game but it's still the same.
