@MireilleSims Does this happen if you use "save as" rather than "save," and does it happen with a new save too? Please test both for comparison's sake.
Please also let me know whether the timestamp on the save file updates when you save. You can find the file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves.
Finally, let me know whether your computer runs Windows or macOS.
