Accidentally Deleted Main Menu Save/Game

My game was already having problems related to mods (not the issue here) and while trying to fix it I ended up deleting a save file of one of my sims and it's no longer in the main menu option(s) at all. I've seen the possible fixes of going into the actual Sims folder and restoring a save but none of the saves in there are from today/last night.. Is there any way to get this game back? I built a super crazy house that took me a loooong time and that's the main thing I'm worried I lost...

    Hi @yuckiecharms

    did you delete it through the main menu or in the file system ?

    I believe if you delete it from the main menu there's not much you can do as the backups are also deleted (not 100% positive).

    I unfortunately did it through the main menu.

    Which I don’t exactly understand why they would allow the game to be completely removed and deleted with 900 “Are you sure you want to completely remove this game from your system?” prompts.

    *sigh*

    I recommend regular backups of your user folder and always upload houses you build to the library and gallery if you're really fond of them.

    I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you. I would think that even if there were still backups, the house would probably not be build in it unless you regularly save when building.
