My Sims 4 won't open "Failed to launch game"
Hey there, I’m really hoping for a hand with The Sims 4. I haven’t been able to open or play the game for over a month. Every time I try to launch, an error pops up that just says “Failed to open.” It won’t start no matter what I do. I’ve given it a solid go trying to fix things on my own. Here’s what I’ve done:
- Cleared cache files multiple times
- Removed all mods and custom content
- Reinstalled The Sims 4 from scratch - Uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App launcher
- Used the Repair option in the EA App several times
- Restarted the computer and checked for updates
Nothing seems to help, the game still won’t open. It’s getting pretty frustrating. I’ve invested a lot of time and money into this, and I miss being able to play. It used to run fine, and now it just won’t launch for no clear reason. Could someone help me figure out what’s going wrong or suggest anything else to try? I’d really appreciate any guidance you can offer, because I’m out of ideas.
