Accidentally restored defaults on game settings
I’m in desperate need of help, I was trying to fix the UI Scale and accidently clicked on restore to defaults on my game settings and exited the game without saving so the settings wouldn’t be changed to default and now my game doesn’t load up the main menu to resume my gameplay it just freezes mid loading and yes I do have Mods and CC. Please help!
@joelsimsroyals Please remove your Mods folder and test again. You should anyway because of the patch that was released a few minutes ago, so this is a great time to test without any mods or custom content.
If the game still won't load, force it to start in windowed mode. Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, open Options.ini, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero). If this works, you can go back to fullscreen, but at the same time, set the in-game resolution to match your monitor.
If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
