action options overlapping

 it wasn't like this yesterday this is a new computer it hasn't even been a week since i set it up, I'm new to playing on pc and I've never done mods or anything, everything else seems fine except my computer was being a little slower.  any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • 565656321456789​  Do you still need help?  If so, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

    i went back to look and the game seems to have fixed itself, hopefully it stays like that🤞thank you!

  • 565656321456789​  That is what I was looking for, and I'm glad to hear the problem has already resolved itself.  What I think happened is your laptop's graphics driver became disabled or uninstalled somehow, leaving you with no driver, so the generic (and ineffective) basic display driver was active instead.  Your screenshot is what it looks like when that happens.  But at some point, your computer was prompted to update and reinstalled a proper driver.

    Having said that, your current driver is from 2023, and Dell offers a newer one for your laptop:

    You'll want the 7x30U driver from September, not either of the others.  Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
