All Households And Builds Wiped From Library

Question

I hadn't played Sims 4 in a long time and I had deleted the Electronic Arts folder. When I reinstalled the game, I expected all my previously saved households to be in my library, especially after clicking the advanced content option. But no, everything is gone households, builds, all of it. The only things technically still there are what I uploaded publicly to the gallery, but even those are missing from my library unironically. The only items left are the default EA builds and households from expansion packs and base game content.

No one is giving me a clear answer except that the tray files might have affected it. But how and why should tray files control what should have been uploaded to the library which Is supposed to be a cloud save?

If these files are deleted or not backed up manually, they won’t appear in your library after reinstalling the game.&nbsp;To ensure your content is saved, you would need to manually back up these files to an external storage service like Dropbox or OneDrive.I hope this clears up the confusion.

@Heman_Superman The thing is, is im talking about the households in my library/gallery, not a save.

@PurpleDyed&nbsp; When you save a household or build to your library, this creates several corresponding files inside Documents &gt; Electronic Arts &gt; The Sims 4 &gt; Tray.&nbsp; These files and the data they contain are not duplicated anywhere else, either on your computer or on EA servers, unless you also save the content to the Gallery.&nbsp; So if you delete the Tray folder, or the folder it's in, you lose that data.
