Am I tripping or why is Sims loading slow

@Awsomepowers  Does the lot you're trying to load use the Off the Grid challenge?  If so, please remove it, which you can do in Build mode.  Choose Load Game rather than Resume if necessary.

If that's not the issue, please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you find.  Try again to load this lot and see whether you get a new LE.  If you do, please upload it here.  The easiest way is to delete the file's first line and attach it as a .txt, but you can also copy and paste it into your reply.
