Hey everyone,
Just before the most recent Quality of Life update, my arrow keys and WASD stopped working to control the camera. I've tried repairing the game, removing all mods, and switching the camera from Sims 3 to Sims 4 and back again with no luck. The only thing I haven't tried is a complete uninstall.
Also, no LEs or UI errors have popped up at all.
If anyone has any suggestions, it'd be much appreciated!

cloudiewaffles But does it support touching with a pen or stylus? If not, do you have any devices connected at all other than possibly a mouse? If so, remove those and restart your computer before trying to play again.
If the answer is still no, try the clean boot described above. It's not a clean install of Windows, just a way to disable everything running in the background that isn't absolutely critical.
I don't have any other devices that could possibly be connected to the laptop. I tried performing a clean boot, and the same thing took place: the keys worked for a few seconds and then stopped. I tried turning off my antivirus thinking it may be a culprit but I was not able to get it to shut down.
cloudiewaffles The publisher of the antivirus should have documentation on its website describing how to uninstall or disable the AV, or temporarily disable real-time scanning.
Other than that, I think I'm out of ideas, unfortunately. But one thing you could try, if you're interested in experimenting, is to install Keyboard Manager, part of Microsoft's PowerToys, and remap the arrow functions to some other keys. If this works, great, but it would also be interesting just from the standpoint of trying to figure out what's going on here. Whether it helps or not would say something about where in the pipeline the issue exists.
