Baby sims not appearing in world

My Sim had a baby with another sim who gave birth to the baby on a different lot. I switched over to play that household but the baby was nowhere to be found. When I clicked the baby icon in the corn...

I tried adopting a baby in a different world and it seemed to work fine. My sims family tree is pretty large so that might have something to do with it.

    Did you ever have any household > 8 mods in the game ?

      Yeah. I used to have a bunch of traits mods installed

        But none that allowed you to have more than 8 Sims in your household ?
