Best ULTRA affordable PC sims 4

Good afternoon,

I’m looking for the best PC build (For closely around $1000 preferably under ) to play The Sims 4 on High settings with lots of CC and some game packs.

I’m really new to PC builds and only know basic component names

Right now this is what I’m aiming to put together

-Gigabyte B550M (motherboard)

-Ryzen 7 5700X3D (cps)

-Peerless Assassin 120 (cpu cooler)

-T-Force Vulcan Z (two 8GB ram sticks)

-Kingston NV2 1TB (ssd)

-Corsair RM750e (power supply)

-RX 7700 XT (gps)

Is there anything I should modify or have I got it all completely wrong

  • @CrxzyDreamz  This build is actually overkill for Sims 4, not that that's a bad thing.  If you're looking to save some money, even an RX 6600 would be sufficient to run Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings, and the other components would support a GPU upgrade should you decide to play more demanding games in the future.  But there's nothing wrong with this build as-is, so if you like it, go right ahead and build it.

In case you haven't come across it, pcpartpicker.com is a great resource for tracking prices and finding the best deals.  You could for example search for all Gigabyte B550M boards, or all 2x8 GB DDR4 RAM kits at or above a certain speed, and see what pretty much every reputable source is offering.

If you have more questions about hardware or how to set up Sims 4, please feel free to ask.
