Black Borders in Map view and now main menu

Hey!!

I have had this problem since the update in december in which there are just two black borders on the left and right of my monitor whenever i'm in the map view. Now after the main menu refresh i'm getting this on the main menu as well. The rest of the game works fine on my monitors resolution (3440x1440) but somehow the main menu and the game maps are in a different resolution...

I've also removed mods and cc to see if it would help but it didn't. 

I hope somebody knows what I can do because yeah in game it's not there but it's kind of ruining the immersion for me and also just annoying....

(P.S. I always play in fullscreen but I had to switch to the window mode so I can use the snipping tool (it hasn't been working correctly since the new fullscreen minimization fix...it just leaves the sims 4 fullscreen window whenever I try to screenshot using the windows key or the PrtScn key...))
