Blank text in Main Menu after updating to 1.16
I updated The Sims 4 to 1.16 and I noticed a glitch where the text on the bottom of the main menu was blank. It was similar to this bug I got when I updated The Sims 4 last May except the bug I got only affected the main menu. I think sometimes older installations might need repairing but unlike the Simmers who encounter problems after updating, I don't have Mods or CC. I do not know if this happens in the Mac version but I'm using the Windows version of the game.
Specs
- Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
- The Sims 4 Digital Deluxe
- AMD Phenom II X4 920 2.8 GHz
- ATI Radeon HD 5670
- 4 GB RAM
- All DLCs except Romantic Garden
- No Mods or Custom Content
If your text on the Main Menu is blank, here's how to fix it:
- Make sure The Sims 4 is not running, open a Origin window, and then click the My Games tab.
- Find The Sims 4.
- Right click The Sims 4 and click on Repair Game.
- After the game is repaired, start The Sims 4 and the text should now be properly displayed.
Moved this to general issues.
Thanks for posting

Also highlighting this as solution as first post can't be used as solution
