Hello! I've had this issue for a long time now. I was just playing the game and suddently this happened. Now I can't do anything, I try to click randomly on the screen but nothing happens. The rest of the PC works just fine, it's just The Sims 4 that looks like that.

@elliemp Are you playing at a resolution of 2560x1600? If not, that's the first thing to try: changing the in-game resolution to match your screen.
If that doesn't help, try changing the user and system DPI settings to 96 (100%) rather than the 144 it's using now. You should be able to use the higher DPI setting, but it's an easy test to see whether this is in fact the issue. This guide is helpful, but you only need option one:
