Books and leftovers disappearing whenever my sim goes to a different lot

So, something weird has been happening for a few weeks now. Every time my sim goes to another lot, all food disappears from the fridge, books disappear from everywhere, and the auto-light and light intensity settings reset to default. I hate having to fix this every time she comes back home. How can I fix this? I've tried restarting the game, removing all my mods and CC, and nothing seems to help. I'm not sure what's going on.
