Bought sims but have trial
So I bought the Sims four an year ago and used it for a bit but then stopped playing. Recently when it became free I Re-opened it end it opened up in trial mode. I don’t have a lot of options in the...
@Ashaquile When you say you don't have a lot of options, could you please be more specific? What options are you not seeing that should be there? Feel free to post a screenshot or two if it helps. To capture the user interface, put the game into windowed mode (the setting is with the other graphics options), click Windows key-shift-S, and drag your cursor over the section you want to capture.
Features missing/ not working:
-only 2 options on phone
-host party not working
-can’t visit other sims home
-can’t interact with toddler
-don’t have homework option
-sims only have few interactions with each other
-sim can’t swim or go for jog Cause option doesn’t show up
also when I opened the app to play again, the households that I made after purchase are missing and only the ones I made with free trial are. Present.
I cleared cache, used diff wifi , turned off anti virus, repaired EA. But it’s still not working.
So I try to fix the homework thing by trying to buy homework but my computer and bookcases don’t have that option either
@Ashaquile It kind of sounds like you're in the tutorial, but that was removed from the game earlier this year. At any rate, if you load Sims 4 to the Main Menu and click New Game, can you start a new save that works normally? You don't need to spend much time on creating the sims; this is just for testing.
If the new save is similarly affected, please load to the Main Menu again and look for the game's version number, which will be in the lower-right area or along the bottom of the screen. Please list the entire version number, i.e. 1.xx.xxx.xxxx.

@Ashaquile Just to be totally clear, you tried a new save and the same problem showed up? Please let me know either way; I wouldn't want to send you down a rabbithole of troubleshooting if there was a simple explanation.
If the new save is similarly affected, please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop so that the game creates a new folder. Don't add anything to the new folder. Instead, try again to start a new save and let me know whether the same problem shows up. Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved, just not read by the game, but that can be addressed later.
