Broken ui

I've only started using custom content in the past month or so, and I've come across a problem with some of the ui and pop-ups and I'm pretty sure they're related. All my career ui is broken so I can't see the performance bar, and sometimes pop-ups such as the 'purchase university items' will not work, as shown in the picture. I have seen some youtubers with the same problem, and I assume others might have a similar problem, but I can't find anything on it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Ui cheat extension mod is ALWAYS first to break after every patch. Go to his creator page and look for the new version. I'm sure that there is a new one.

    After checking that it wasn't any of my other mods, I got the newest version of ui cheats and it seems to be working. Thanks a lot!

    weerbesu said his ui mod does not break the game, it must be a game glitch or whatever. He does not believe his mod causes any problems. I messaged him, and his reply is as follows: Hey! This is a UI mod and it's not capable of causing any gameplay issues. For example if your clients are not home, this means you have a gameplay issue, not a UI issue. Any gameplay issues are either caused by a different mod, or you've run into a bug of the game itself.    I have proven that his is the only mod that makes my game not work.
