BSOD while playing SIMS 4

    Essentially I wiped the system last night and only updated drivers, installed Origin and Sims 4 base game. Base game played fine for about 3 hours. Once I closed/reopened the game and the expansions were applied it crashed within a few minutes (just the game, no BSOD). 

    Since then I have set the game to run in compatibility mode. I haven't had any issues so far. I'm assuming the wipe/reload and compatibility mode have corrected my issues.

@simplyzachariah   Did you build this system yourself or was it built for you? If you biutlt it yourself did you check to see if the mother board has the latest bios? When computer parts are manufactured the software may be out of date by the time the product is sold. The M2 memory modules have microcode and it is a good idea to check the manufacturer support site to make sure there are no patches for your ssd system storage device (ssd). A new install of Windows operating system may not have all sub systems installed to play all software. Does the game  start and play. A BSOD is just one result of a system crash. There are many more reasons a computer may crash. Thius game checks for the video system in your computer. It may not be identified by the game correctly. Have you tried running a video benchmark program like 3dmark. If other programs crash then you probably have a system issue and not a game issue.
