Build mode menu isn't working
In my sims 4 game, the build mode menu isn't working. i will click on it but the menu won't pop up and the game will freeze so I can only pick up and move items around. It won't let me leave the screen either, so I have to use task manager to actually exit the game.
I tried creating a different sim on a different save file, loading it on windowed mode and clean booting it but it's still not working
I just updated the game so is there any way to fix this?

If you have mods/cc in your game, remove all of them to see if the game works better.
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game.If that did not work or you do not have mods, please post a DxDiag:
